Gender Justice
Working toward the systematic fair treatment of people of all gender identities and gender expressions, resulting in equitable opportunities and outcomes for all.
Pervasive sexual harassment, discrimination, wage theft, violence, and other barriers continue to unfairly burden women and gender-expansive people including transgender, nonbinary, and intersex individuals, preventing them from reaching their full potential. This is especially true for lower-wage workers and students of color.
No one should be denied access to school programs, workplace protections, essential public facilities, health care, or accurate identity documents because of their sex, gender, gender identity, gender expression, sexual orientation, or any other protected characteristic. Everyone deserves the chance to learn, grow, work, and thrive with safety, dignity, and respect.
